CUBS (7-11 Years)

Your child, upon joining, will first have to complete the following steps before they are invested:

• The Cub Law

• The Cub Promise

• The Cub Motto

• The Left Handshake

• The Salute

• The Grand Howl

• Story of Lord Baden-Powell and how Cubbing started

• The story of Mowgli’s Brothers.

Once invested there are various advancements for the Cub to complete. The highest award that Cubs can receive is the Leaping Wolf Badge. From 11 years of age cubs then go up to Scouts.

Cub Promise

I promise to do my best,

To do my duty to God and my country,

To keep the Law of the Wolf Cub pack,

And to do a good turn to somebody every day.

Cub Law

The Cub gives in to the Old Wolf,

The Cub does not give in to himself.
